Rupert Murdoch apologises for controversial remarks, Aziz Ansari immediately fires back
LAST WEEK, RUPERT Murdoch found himself at the centre of a Twitter firestorm after he asserted that all Muslims were to blame for last week’s Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris.
Murdoch sent the following tweet in the immediate aftermath of the attacks.
High-profile figures such as JK Rowling, Jon Stewart and Aziz Ansari slammed Murdoch for the tweet, with Ansari taking to Twitter to mercilessly mock the media magnate.
Tonight, Murdoch backtracked on his remarks saying that he didn’t mean “all Muslims” were to blame for last week’s terror attacks.
Naturally, Ansari immediately spotted the tweets and fired back with this tweet.
Murdoch has not yet responded to Ansari calling him a ‘loser’, but we secretly hope this war of words never ends.
